Improving the menus at The Wells Road Centre
22/02/2016 by Amy Gaskin-Williams

Two recent postings on Patient Opinion have commented on the standard of the food provided at The Wells Road Centre.
- "I like the menu, though I'd like more choice and hotter food, sometimes the meals are different to the menu."
- "[For those] patients with no ward access or [those who] don't like to eat in the restaurant, their meals can be hard and cold! Can their meals be plated up just before patients return to the ward?"
In response, the catering team replied to say that a menu review was underway, and that the catering team welcomed any suggestions from patients. They also responded to say that for those patients who eat on the wards, meals will be plated immediately before returning to the ward to ensure they are warm and fresh. The catering team did also receive compliments in these postings:
- "Catering staff are helpful I suffer from epilepsy and staff always ask if I need help taking my meal to the table"
