IAPT staff appraisals now include patient feedback
The Trust’s IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) service seek patient feedback using their own patient experience questionnaires. The feedback is collated and published alongside the Trust’s survey feedback online.
To improve the roundedness of the feedback provided to staff in appraisals, managers now include general feedback received about the service and also specific patient feedback about individuals.
This is a significant development in the use of patient feedback as a means to inform service improvement and staff progression.
