Overcoming difficulties for patients arranging Podiatry appointments

Some people had expressed difficulties telephoning for a podiatry appointment, for example those with visual or hearing impairment, memory problems etc.The Podiatry Service now identifies people who may have difficulties making the call and uses the electronic patient record to flag up a re-call.
As a result, someone from the service will contact patients at an appropriate time to arrange an appointment with them.
