Helping with hearing loss in mental health services for older people

Recent studies have shown that 70% of people over 70yrs old, and 90% of people over 80yrs old have some level of hearing loss, which is often not diagnosed for up to 10 years.

As a response to this, in January 2016 the Trust's mental health services for older people provided funding to ensure that ALL community teams have access to equipment for progressive hearing loss.
