Older people in crisis now have more support at night
20/06/2016 by Amy Gaskin-Williams
As a response to feedback from older people who have experienced crisis and reported needing more help in the evenings, the Rapid Response Liaison Psychiatry (RRLP) team supporting older people have extended their working hours - meaning they now work until 8:30pm at night, rather than only until 4pm.
This is a change in service provision linked directly to feedback, and done with the am of supporting people in need later in the evening, at times of potential loneliness and isolation.
